Default Sway Bar Connects. Need 'em off!

Got some disconnects to put on. How do the originals detach?. Removed the torx bolt but there's another bolt that secures them (i think) under a rubber housing. Tried to pry the bugger off but got no result. I'm missing the obvious but what is it

woz gotat use a press to release it or i read in the other bulletins that the take the whole swaybar off n bang the crap out of it....or take the bottom off rotate it forward so that the swaybars face out from the bumper..get a mate to hold it n bang away...but somebody here will probably give a better advice :D :D

you can jack the body up till the wheel hangs a little off the ground undo the nut on the top afew turns ,not all the way off this puts all the weight on the the joint . Then tap the side of the sway bar right next to the nut, this should release the sway bar link then do the other side the same way then take both links off
good luck

Yup what Cody said...
Attached the lower link.
Lossen the upper link nut.
Jack the front end up (or drive up car ramps) so that the axle is pulling down on the joint.
Get BFH or ReallyBFH and hit the swaybar itself in an upward swing...(make sense).
Heat & wd40 might help - but personally I wouldn't bother just do the above...

After you pop them out the first time as above it's easy after that! First time I did mine it took a good 5 minutes with a BFH. Now it's one or two hits and it pops.
