I'm looking at a 1973 Chero with a 360 as a running platform for the Willys Wagon.
Basically I've spoken to a few places about the existing wagon Chassis & it seems getting it straightened is a fair bit of hassle and it's likely to cost as much as the entire running platorm would.....
Don't straighten a chassis - it will have a "memory" of the bends and will do it again soonest. New second hand chassis is the only way to go. Otherwise your going to be gussetting the steel all along....
The idea is a jolly good one however...

Almost outa here. The bush cook calls.
The idea...ie the idea of using a Chero frame?
Anyways the original chassis looks like it's taken a solidish hit in the front drivers side and this means that the chassis is slightly "tweeked", so me thinks a straight replacement is a better idea.....
good idea once somthing has been bent it becomes the weakest part the chero frame sounds like the go providing you dont mind fabricating some mounts and othe do dads
