Default Border Ranges Track

Hey guys

was going through some old posts re Places to go around SE QLD, and saw a posting on the Border Ranges track from Beaudesert to Nerang. It said there would be details posted on the site, Anyone done it Know about it. Just did Duck Creek road with the Missus and the kids and that was a nice little drive so would be interested in some more runs like that

Regards

Gerard

lions road is good.. (well I love it)
also murwillumbar road os nice and scenic.. pull up at uki pub for lunch.. or go right through to kyogle and have lunch there.. there are lots of little roads that break away.. you can go to lismore via nimbin.. or just get lost following roads .. Im a little bias cause I just it down there.. but its really a great place for family drives..

yes I know I just know the names of them haha.. hence why I added the

there are lots of little roads that break away..

you would think after all the years I spent there I would know the names of all the areas haha.. even some peoples driveways can be a 4x4 adventure around there.. especially during a wet season

If you guys are keen for a day out up around the mountains with some easy 2wd dirt & bitumen driving next weekend let me know. If Princess and i aren't going up the beach we'll probably spend a day up the mountains on sat or sun. I'm keen to do Natural Arch, Mt Warning and maybe Lions road/boarder ranges national park and Mt Barney national park. I wanna see if it can all be done in a day

Cheers

yer it can be....natural arch first then make your way across via the murwillumbar road.. then you can either follow summerland way or take a right instead of a left and go through some back roads.. which will get you onto the lions road..
