Default Wrangler wiring

hi all,

i finally got my dual battery setup done and im going to wire up the back of the jeep with a 400W inverter. I bought a 20 amp fuse breakout box so i could get run 2x 12V cig adapters, and some nasty fat 8 guage wire.

So how should i wire from the battery on the left hand side through the firewall to the back seats. I have pulled out the glove box but cant seem to trace where the wireing harness goes throught the firewall. I have found that there is a gromit, below the glove box near the pax feet.

anyone else can enlighten me where they wired through the firewall ?

Probably easier to locate it from the engine bay side. Been quite a while since I checked but I think it is behind and below the battery?

There's an easily reachable one on the drivers side. That's where i run my billion or so accessories through as i found it a bit hard to locate on the passenger side. If ya stick your head down near the pedals and look up you can see it sticking out like a sore thumb.

Cheers

thanks, i think ill use the one on the pax side as thats where the aux battery is. I found the one near the pedals but would have to wire back across the engine again.

yep you have to take out the battery to access that gromit in the passenger footwell.
there is also the one pretty much directly behind the engine block IIRC.
