What is it about the iPod? It's ugly as hell and isn't even that good an MP3 player.

PC has had MP3 players for years and Apple bring out iPod and everyone goes nuts about how cutting edge it is.

It's a 3 year old PC product with a big drive and that's about it.

How many PC's fit in your pocket?

How many MP3 players have a 20 or 40 gig hard drive (yes i know of iRiver but iPod came out before it)?

How many MP3 players have such ease of use?

And IMHO i think it looks amazing. For the record i don't own one or an Apple computer but from the iPod's i have used i think they are amazing.

The only thing I dont like is they have moving parts, now when they come with 40gb of memory instead of a hard drive I'll be real impressed It's still a neat bit of gear though but a bit pricey for me.

Cheers

I actually use my IPOD for work. 40gigs of extra hard drive space comes in handy, plus i can take my work to my clients in my pocket

Silly person. I was talking about PC based MP3 players, but seeing you asked how about the 50 or so types of pocket PC's. I guess a pocket PC would fit in your pocket.

And Nomad. So that would be 2 or one more than iPOD.
