Default Goatsack goes under the knife again [now with FINISHED PICS]

The Goatsack (97 TJ) is getting a front tube fender convo and hi-steer conversion next week courtesy of Matt (aka gonads) at M&M Custom Engineering in Sydney.

Plans are to be based on those waaaaay-cool Poison Spyder numbers that JP is filled with these days.

eg :

Hi steer will involve the use of Pootrol-gauged rods and rod ends to be located on top of the knuckles eliminating the verrrrry ghey (aka flimsy, lame, drug-induced design) of the stock Jeep inverted Y e-z-bend steering setup.

This is following the final bending and ensuing roadside straightening of the Alumi-flex alloy tie rod and battered stock drag link and afterwards release into the wild (on the Hume @ speed) of the well-mashed front Warn 6" extenda flare.

I'll post pics and more than likely submit some endless ranting to Waz and Mike (those funky dudes at JAA mag) for a full story with gory details.

Following some testing (next round of XWC and the weekend after at JAD will do fine ) the intention is for ABT4x4 and M&M to offer both tube fenders and hi-steer conversions for stock-axled TJ's.

More rambling to come

The Goatsack loves a good chopchop

Yeah SC, am going to get them made wider than the Spidey ones to cover the 35" MTR's for on-road and fun duty and will use small rubber extensions (maybe) to cover the 36" swampies when comping.

Same short rubber sort they sell in rolls at most ARB outlets I reckon.

...then I can sell the leftovers of the $40.00 Bunnings garden edging on ebay as custom 6" flare extensions for ONE MILLION DOLLARS !!!

MUHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA !!!

Timmy, You are an artiiiiiiiiiiiiiiist

Ann, that Canuck goat looked pretty damn happy to me !
