Default HAVE YOUR SAY ON JAMBO '06, ITS IN YOUR BEST INTEREST.

Please choose the option of greatest interest to you

Out of curiosity and a need for truth.

I am requesting quality input, information and suggestions that may assist the people organising the Jamboree as to what type of activities Jeep Owners of all creeds and models want in this day and age from a large Jeep gathering when organised.

The Jamboree 06 will be in South East Queensland sometime next year.

Given the information about the Jamboree's location, how many of you intend or plan on travelling up here for this bi-annual event?

***How do you feel about the location being shared with other 4x4 drivers or motorbikes? Or would you prefer your own area for the duration of the event?

Please kindly respond to the Poll and post any suggestions it would / will be appreciated.

Any options not presented may be added if suggested.

Thank you for your imput.

FC .

(Please keep it clean and on topic)

I like the aspect of getting together and wheeling... I don't get much time to go offroad but when i do, i want to be in the thick of it, not standing round chatting... thats what the lunch break is for... the more wheeling the better, for all trucks not just heavily modded ones... but it's always good to watch the heavily modded ones do harder tracks... only occasionally otherwise it gets boring standing round waiting...

thats my opinion!

A good event should cover a large range of events. From medium to hard runs to easy to medium runs, to maybe one or two sight seeing runs.

The Event needs to be held in a place where we can also have some hardcore serious type stuff that is easy to get to and very close to the main camp so that people can play whenever they want and spectators can comfortably go and watch.

I have been to 2 Jambo's now, and even thought everyone says they dont wanna travel 1000k to wheel too hard, its funny to see when the trips are ready to go, just the amount of people going on the drives, almost 85% that are at the event, and when they come back, "wow this really hard section was awesome".

For me, play area close to camp to be able to watch the big rigs, a test area and mud pit close to camp for EVERYONE and decent trips with responsible people, and yes i am making some critism of drives at other Jambos.

I know for one that I will end up a trip leader for the big trucks come Jambo06, but as everyone that knows me will attest, im in it for stockers through to rockers. I want to see eveyone enjoy a event, so pick somewhere logical to hold the Jambo, not something you THINK is good, pick somewhere which actually is GOOD!

The Jambo 02 A grade track was great - sit in the shade & watch some big arsed trucks drive. We need more of that.

From what I've seen in Jeep & non Jeep events, day driving tours don't seem to be too popular. Half day harder drives always fill up fastest.
