Well I pretty much finished off my snorkel install tonight. The worst bit was cutting the hole in the guard. I borrowed a 3" hole saw from Wooders (thanks mate) but couldn't get the angled outlet of the Safari Snorkel in through the hole, the bend was a problem. Ended up ovaling the hole out with the Dremel and the rest was pretty easy. All up it's cost me about $115.
As an aside I decided to route the hose differently so that it was all up inside the guard lining and wouldn't rub on the tyres or get damaged.
Here's a few pics.
Hole in the guard
My hose routing going in through the side of the inner guard, thats a heap of silicon on it to stop it rubbing.
With the lining back in (no exposed hose)
And with it bolted up, just need to do the windscreen bracket
Cheers
