Question 242 rebuild

anyone have any info on rebuilding the 242 t/case in the XJs ,
web-links , write-ups etc
Best place to get spares for this also ie Chain , seals & bearing

The chain is slappin around inside his T/case and needs replacement ASAP

any advice on sye's (slip yoke eliminator kits) would be good as well
looked at the price on the rubicon express.au site (by year model)
and it would seem they are more expensiv than others (why?)

Dude I would just start googling it or contacting the local jeep suppliers as I am sure you can find plenty of info.

thanx Zach ,

been looking for something that us TJers would use , like www.stu-offroad.com , for details in strip down & rebuild but for XJ junk

have a rough idea already of where to source the bits O/S ... just curious if anyone has got the bits locally & timely
