I know 2 things about them.

1. They are not actually australian.

2. They are similar to a Lock Right or Detroit EZ locker.

And the email from the owner idicated that he has no interest in selling them here in Aust. no idea on the reason may he just doesnt want to bother with a small market like Australia even though he is cashing in on the Australian repuation to sell them ??

More likely market size given that less than 2% of 4x4's in Australia are regulary driven off-road, and only a few of that 2% would actually invest in lockers, and only a few of those few would actually buy his brand of locker.

So his market size is proberbly about 10 sets then, can see why he can't be bothered

You know that and I know that but that isn't how Australia is portrayed to the rest of the world. When most people think of Australia they think of the outback and the heat etc etc, not of sipping coffee down at a cafe at Bondi

As I understand it (From the owner of Aussie Locker himself) he'll be more than glad to send anyone here one. $229 US for one. He says he invented the Lokka Lockrite (or designed it or some such) and these are improved over that design.
I've spoken to him on the phone and if that accent of his isn't Aussie I don't know what is...
