2006 Jeep Commander real hands on review

I know there's been a lot of discussion on the looks of the new Jeep Commander, I personally do not mind its looks, lots of vehicles & people do not photograph that well.

To pinch a section of the writers review

"The Commanders boxy appearance is the result of Jeep’s intention to portray simplicity and strength. We think it works. People who liked the old Jeep Cherokee stand a good chance of liking the Commander. The lines and proportions work much better in person to create a distinctively utilitarian look."

I will probably get flamed here, but with that step up in the roof it sort of looks like one of the older shape discoveries

Too low for that, I was thinking more Subaru Sports Wagon!
But maybe they were just going off the Beiging Jeep?
