Default Diff Locks
just wondering if anyone out there is using the LOCK RIGHT by LOKKA diff locks

i am thinking about putting one in the front of the XJ soon and these are only $449 at the moment

if anyone is using these how are they on the black top and how are the off the black top ??

also how hard are these to install yourself ??

No brainer as a DIY but ya gottto be a bit carefull with the reinstall. Trouble is the front starts driving the back on wet days and you will need to lock in full time 4wd to control the thing.

I have had one in the front of a GQ for 120,000ks & in the Wrangler for 20,000ks. I have never had any kind of issue on or off road with either vehicle. I am replacing the Wrangler one with an air locker, but not because it doesn't work well, I just bought one as part of a ratio change.

BTW the Lokka will be available for $275 in about a month.

you will lose the full time 4 wheel drive capability if you fit in front (assuming the diesels have same t-case as petrols?)

Well, at least mine doesn't.
No FT 4WD available.
