Default Help Needed: Sydney
Hi Jeepers,

I need some help from our Sydney based Jeepers.

Given that Suburban4WD has closed down, I now have a TD XJ with no motor in it. I have the new motor that needs to be put in, and the original one which still has injectors and possibly other "bits" (excuse the tech talk), that we need to re-use. Suburban were fitting the new motor for me - now, it's in pieces.

A couple of 4WD mates have offered to help get me back on track using one of their workshops, but having no real experience with Jeeps, we're trying to "recruit" somebody who has done an engine change in a jeep to help us out. The workshop is based in Ingleburn (Campbelltown), so if you are able to help, and live nearby give me a shout.

Yeah Wooders,

Got one of those. We should be fine, but would feel more confortable having a helping hand from somebody who has done one already....

Havent done one already, but can supply a car to look at while you do it !!

Am willing to lend a hand, but as i said in another post, i can recomend J.C diesel for any technical / difficult / expensive (oops. sorry ) work.

Mick who originally founded Suburban is now working at ARB Penrith. He should be able to help out if you need someone with Jeep knowledge to do it.
