Hi everyone
As a proud new owner of a Wranger named Tigger (by his former owner... and I just had to keep his name!) I decided it was time to join the ranks of hundreds online to keep in touch with what's happening.. Jeep wise. My wonderful husband (a lot of you know him as Rodgebone) Roger introduced me back into the world of 4x4, something I did not realise was still in my blood from when I drove my dads 4wheel out on the beaten tracks of the Pilbara. He took me (begrudgingly the first time), out on the tracks by our home.... and that was it, I was hooked!!!! More and more I wanted to drive Roger's Jeep. At first that was ok, but as time has worn on we both found it harder to share! I went Jeep shopping and came up empty... I wanted a Jeep with personality, something different and perhaps with a history! (wink) Roger found the perfect TJ and I was so excited.... only thing... Tigger lived in the heart of Sydney!!!! Instead of Roger saying, 'No that's too far..etc', he just booked our plane tickets, told the kids not to burn down the house, and three days later we were on our way to pick up our new Jeep....
I loved Tigger right from the start, and had a lot of time, hours, days to get to know him as we drove him home across this beautiful country of ours to his new home in Perth.... The rest is history.... with a live in mechanic and Jeep enthusiast extroadinair I am happily awaiting new rego plates (he needs to go over the pits) so I can drive out bush, and not have to share!! (well....I guess I can swap with Roger's Jeep sometimes I he wants... he did find Tigger after all.
Look forward to Jeeping with everyone and making happy memories.
Cheers Robyn
