Unhappy Knocking when turning

Hi,
I have a 2001 TJ Wrangler. Just recently as in a few hours ago, I noticed that if I turn in a tight circle or do a u turn there seems to be a clunking/knocking sound coming from underneath somewhere, and you can feel it through the floor as well. Can someone please help me and tell me what could be causing this. We just had a new clutch installed and the main driver retainer replaced as well as the seal that goes between the engine and gearbox. could any of these cause this or is this a totally different problem all together?
thanks

If the clunking occurs under load (whilst accelerating) I would say yes it has to do with the work just done.

Sure it isn't just the tyre lugs rubbing on the lower control arm at full lock?

That would have been my guess too...I really must adjust my steering stops...

Scullywag have you changed tyres recently?
