Default Access point at Slate Mine Hill Rd- Newnes

So it's the 2nd of Feb & a gate or something is meant to now be blocking access to this area at the Zig Zagcar park. Does anyone know about Slate Mine Hill Rd? it comes off the Bells Line Of Rd about 3/4 of the way between the ZigZag car park & Lithgow. The trail (according to my map) splits and then joins again to go up to Newnes Forest Road (which will take you to Zig Zag car if you want).
So what I'm interested in is the access at this point (Bells & Slate) & the condition of the trail. Any help or info would be good.

I wonder if I should have posted this in a different section? It would be hard to believe that no one's used it, know's about, or even exited via it.

I'm keeping my eyes on a few links around Chris regarding Zig Zag access. I will keep you posted.
