Default Fouros Trailer Build Up

Watch this space

i secured a 7x4 Busted arse box trailer recently , the chassis was good but the body leaves a LOT to be desired so i am gonna build me a trailer ( its good having a mate who is a boiler maker by trade ( save me from crappy welds)

i ordered a complete highside body kit 7 x 4 x 510mm sides including floor and hinges for 370 (coming next week)

i have found some Hilux rear springs with shackles ( thank you dumpster behind arb )

i have found some falcon 16" steelies which will have to do untill i can find some KJ rims

i will be adding jerry holders and a gas bottle holder , i just gotta work out where to put my spare at the moment

lots o picks to follow

You might get too much height from the Hilux rear springs and too stiff as well unless you are planning to always carry a heavy load? Can loose some height fitting the springs spring under as well and maybe soften it up some by loosing a leaf or two. The Hilux front leaves would have been better otherwise if it was from a model that old.

was thinking of taking a leaf out , so thanks for confirming that go-jeep will give spring under a go to start with as well,

the leafs were out of a 10mth old hilux that had done 40,000 k's so they should be in reasonable condition
