Default WJ/WG mudflaps

We all know they get ripped off at the first sight of mud or rocks
Does anybody have any bright ideas about how to keep them on or some type of quick release system to take them off quickly?

I found gutters, kerbs and concrete "end of bay" parking lots work very well .

I left mine off, went to Clark Rubber and got some very heavy duty floppy rubber, used the flaps as a template and made my own, bolted them on and they never ever came off.

Kerb? LOL. Sorry, but I could not help but laugh when I saw that. Kinda like when my wife spells tire / tyre. LOL.

Don't mind me, I'm just looking for some thing to do.

It's around midnight Sat for you - did your wife out and leave you all alone with the computer .

To "curb" is to "stop", a "kerb" is something at which you stop!
Changing a "tyre" will "tire" you.

Cheeesshh, you Yanks know nuthin! For a list of correct spellings see here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/America...ng_differences

LOL no, not really. She has my beloved Jeep down in Phoenix where the paint is probably being baked into the steel from the heat. She had to go down for work and decided she’d rather stay for the night and drive home in the morning. Safer she says. Hmmm

Being alone for once has given my time to get my weekly paper work in order. I’ve been procrastinating all week. I was getting tied is punching number into the computer and thought I’d come on here and see what your folks down under were up to.

LOL. I always found it funny how different English really is between two countries. Even spelling between the US and Canada can be slightly different. I still laugh when I hear my wife say “herbs, aluminum, ass (arse), aeroplane, vitamins”. Theres others out there I know. Even after being married for four years and knowing her for seven, its still strange some times. Than theres how she spells things like, check comes out cheque, tire / tyre, yogurt / yoghourt, gray / grey and other little things I’ve noticed over the years. Yet to see kerb though. Or maybe I just never seen it in writing.

No, shes not Englsh, shes an American who was raised in England however. Still has an English accent even after several years here in the States.
