Default Had a crash last night & pics

Lucky for me, was not in the Jeep. Was a passenger in a mates modified Ford Maverick (See Nissan Patrol ) and were happily sitting at the lights on Kelvin Grove Road when Bang... A nice 06 Hilux rear ended us on the left hand side.

Gave us a hell of a nudge too. I reckon she was going about 40 kms. Said she was trying to change lanes and didn't realise we were stationary. Was a fair bit sore last night in the back and neck and head where I met the roof. Mate in the back is a bit sore. Driver not too bad as he said he saw her just before impact and braced himself.

Mav still driveable and looked ok for the shunt. Not so much the Hilux. She crumpled.

For those in the traffic jam that way last night, we say sorry but it twernt our fault. No major injuries which is the most important thing.

Pics attached from today at the smash repairer.

Tis good you guys are ok, Chris. Those Mavericks are built like a brick outhouse aren't they? I expect most new cars are meant to crumple in an accident. Tis prolly written off.

Sheet, Identical impact zones...

Agreed Wen, hilux probably written off. Was making some shocking noises. The Mav could have been driven home but insurance advised to take it for viewing.

Jimmy, I knew there would be some locals cringeing at the traffic. so glad it wasn't the jeep.
