Default Visiting Fraser

We are are staying in Peregian beach for 2 weeks at Christmas which we're looking forward to. We're hoping to do a day trip to rainbow beach and on to Fraser Island. There are several links on this site which have come in handy. but we are taking our dog on this holiday so we need to leave him some where when we visit fraser. Are dog allowed around Rainbow??

So if someone can suggest where we can leave him for a day then that would be great as we live in Sydney and I've not been to Fraser since i took a 2 stroke 500cc Sierra there with mate many many years ago...

I wont be camping as we're staying in Peregian Beach, If I'm not mistaken Then that means we can take the gog at any time as long as its on the beach. In other word teh National park extends only to high tide mark??? Is that right?

Next time someone's on Fraser can they get me the GPS coordinates for the entrance to Dili Village off the beach. I overshot last year and got bogged trying to get off the beach as a result (wound up out of the ruts). I'll have 5 more Jeeps behind me this Christmas, it would be good to know in advance we were getting close and we could keep an eye out for the signs a bit better. Thanks.

Bomber, this is off google earth, entrance to dilli village, you might have to fiddle with your gps to allow it to input degrees minutes and seconds, i have used google earth to find co-ord many a time with no probs whatsoever!
