Default Test Drove Today

Test drove a 4 door Wrangler Soft Top CRD today.

1/ Noisy little engine....
2/ Gutless felt like I had NO power and the pedal was usless...
3/ Ride? well questionabale...! in my view....jittery and bumpy...

Mmmmmm not impressed at all????

Need to find a Hard Top Petrol to compare...

Dont know what was wrong with it. I def wouldnt call it gutless if it wasnt for traction control full power take offs would be filled with tyre smoke. I'm stoked with my diesel. I cant complain bout lack of power. Its a diesel but you barely know its there when under way and the ride prob could be better but it sh*ts over alot of the other 4WDs i've driven

If I got a CRD would have to be the Manual Transmission. When I put the trottle in it was like trying row with an egg wisk?

it's alot louder than when it's worn in...

MY JK CRD has done just over 1000km's and it's alot quieter then when I first bought it. Most of the guys say it quietens down and feels more powerful after 5000km's....

also... ANY SOFT TOP WRANGLER IS GONNA BE LOUD! Materials roofs never hold out the sound.... and of course CRD will always be noiser than petrols... but diesel lasts longer...

I've just changed to soft top after 4 months with the hard top and you cant notice any discerable differance. Gotta say love the auto powers on tap no matter what ya doing. There are the occasional timeas when theres a delay in power delivery but its still way better than the manual

The CRD for me would be a manual. I'll test drive the petrol next in the auto and a manual CRD and then decide. I'll test drive a commander as well quite liike them....

When the soft tops been on over a summer season and all the plastic has stretched and the zippers are no longer tight... the noise will be horrendous... Soft tops never stay tight for long...
