Cool 1979 Cj7
Just bought a 1979 CJ7 and was wondering if anyone knew of a good mechanic in Adelaide that could work on it for me. Rang one guy who didn't know what a Jeep was, thats when I knew I needed help in finding the right mechanic.

Welcome CJ7. Welcome to the madness that is jeeps.

Am from Adelaide, and no, I dont know any mechanics to work on your CJ7.

best person to speak to is probably Glen, from mt Barker 4x4. he drives a TJ, has an ARB agency, and is generally a very knowledgable Jeeper. He'll point you in the right good direction.

Where in Adelaide are you? Am in the Hills myself . .

Thanks for the advice, I will be sure to give him a call.

I'm in the city at the moment but am hoping to move to the hill eventually. Just came down from QLD a couple months ago, and first order of business was to buy an old Jeep. Next step get it back into shape and take it out.

The Adelaide Jeep club is having its last meeting of the year, tonight, if you are interested.

It will be my first as well, but surely they'd know a mechanic or 3.

Its @ 6:30 in Prospect.
