I have replaced mine with new standard items and it tightened up the steering great. Hammonds have the american links modified to suit right hand drive.

hey Allan have a look at this..
I like the idea....
http://quadra-trac-jeep-cj7-buildup....cal-so-if.html

about standard replacements: I done a search and I'm plannig to order from quadratec.. way cheaper than locally, my only concerne is to know the right length of the linkage connecting the pitman arm with the passenger side rod end.
apparently the parts for the conversion are the same as a narrow track cj (I got wide track),
my old one is approd 60cm long (23" 1/2) plus the pitman rod end we jend up to approx 72cm (28" 1/8?)
will the narrow track set up ( '76-'81 ,28' 1/8 long ) fit or do I have to jump to the wide track one (30.5" long) and shorten it????
hope been clear
I need confirm or have some reference asap plz
thanks a lot!
