Default What to do while im in Melbourne?
Hi Guys,

Well im heading over to Melbourne from the 28th to the 6th of July with the missus and i was looking for ideas of things to do whileover there so far the list is;

- Mt Buller 2 days
- Casino
- Great ocean road
- Shopping (missusso a couple days)
- Victoria markets
- MCG

need some other ideas....

its the split round of the AFL

Richmond carlton are playing tigers 100th year celebration should be 100000 people at the g

Mornington peninsula is very special - has heaps of stuff golf, wineries B & B's beaches, history etc
In melb - theatre - food - markets - casino - lygon st - brusnwick st - bridge road all worth a visit and shopping
Catch a tram to stkilda or port melb
Go too docklands for a look see - Telstra dome is cool and new quay is great
Williamstown worth a visit - ferry from southbank
Dandenongs are special - devonshire teas etc
Yarra valley great - domian chandon ok but yarra yering and yering station better
zoos are great - werribee, city or healesville
phillip island penguins, koalas race track etc
great ocean road is amazing - warroonbool should have whales at the moment
just a couple of things too do

snow you have 5 options

Baw baw - 2 hours downhill
Lake mountain 2 hours cross country - can do some snow driving here as well
Donna buang - 1.5 hrs only snow play
Mt buller 3.5 hours downhill - cross country there as well
Falls or hotham - 4.5 hrs downhill - can fly to hotham though 40 min from tulla

Snow driving - Mt skene and Mt terrible 3.5 hours from melb - go with others though
