A lost whale calf which had spent days trying to suckle from boats off Sydney's northern beaches has been put down.
The whale, affectionately dubbed 'Colin' by locals, was first spotted on Sunday afternoon nuzzling up to a boat it thought was its mother.
After the decision was made yesterday to put him down, Colin went missing, but was eventually found this morning.
Veterinary experts say the decision was made to euthanase Colin because of serious injuries sustained from previous shark attacks, including breathing difficulties and hanging flukes.
There are soooo many things wrong with this story.
main one being the human race playing god.
Soon we will be sending a team of divers to put down seals after there arse has been bitten off by a shark so they wont die in pain.
Soon the sharks will start to eat them....(divers)
