I was always under the impression that Internals (Staun etc.) were technically illegal, given that you are required to drill a second hole in the rim for the second valve stem, but hey it didn't stop me from putting them in
. You have to be a member of the Tyre & Rim Association to repair/modify rims with approval.
I then went back to the QLD TPT Mods guide and it appears (unless I missed it) that the component I was thinking of has vanished, the suspension component appears to have laxed also??? Strange.....but then again it is merely a guide and cannot be referenced legally.
