Just about to order some new tyres and need some info to help me decide.

Not aily driver but some road work.

So MTZ or CLAW

If its your toy, go super swampers...

I had this same dilemma not long ago and went with the MTZ's...very pleased with them and its my dd aswell...Only prob with the claws is that they are not siped, so they can slide a bit sideways on slippery rocks...but then again, alot of ppl on here use em and swear by them..

Maxxis Trepador


The MTZs are great for a daily driver tyre and few comp trucks are now running them but I would get something more aggressive like the Trepadors if its for an play 4x4.
You must be well of to have JK as a play 4x4!!!

I've got claws on the back and MTZs on the front - that should cover most situations - though it is my daily driver

I will have a set of simex for the real muddy stuff, used them on my winch comp truck in the uk. I dont think they can be beat in that sort of terrain.
