Default Squeaky Doors!!!!!!!

Everytime I go over any kind of bump, even on bitumen, I get this super annoying squeaky sound - like it is the door seals rubbing.

I've checked the door mounts and is all secure, checked the hard top and is all secure but no luck and THIS IS DRIVING ME NUTS!!!!!!!!

Any ideas??

Remove the doors :P

Rubber care or some sort of sylican spray for the seals should eliminate them. once that is elliminated get a passanger to move around the cab to locate the noise.

Make sure the screws for the locking mechanism in the actual door are nice and tight. Had a similar problem with my tailgate but it was more of a bang going over bumps, myne had become finger loose by themselves!!

lol Simsy, it aint the dampner. It's the lower intermediate shaft. When it's warmed up in the engine bay, it has more play and clunks. A lot of the guys in the US squeeze some Amsoil oil inside the rubber boot...for most it makes it go away (for a short while). Others get the shaft replaced, which fixes it, but again - comes back.

I've sent a few queries out to different sponsors of this site, and local manufacturers of drive/steering shafts. No one yet is making aftermarket shafts, and whoever does first - will make a killing in selling them!
