Back again , re read operating book and it definatly says that a 4 pin code No needs to be put in to enable the radio after battery change ect .

Is it correct that i dont need a code for the radio for my WG ? . Rather get this sorted before a battery change is required .

I have never seen a WJ/G in my life that you need to punch in a radio code.... Only way one could enter a code would be with a scan tool, but even then i have never seen that done....

I have seen plenty of Jeeps with flat batterys and non needed them. Call your local Jeep dealer give them your V.I.N and ask what your code is ??

I think we must have crossed wires here , every car since noah was a pup have had an anti theft security code , as described on page 7 of the jeep operating book on sound systems. Any way thanks for assistance will see stealer and get code .
