Default Seeking CJ 5/6 Tie rod ends LHD.

Hi all
I'm looking for tie rod ends for a mid 70's CJ 5/6. Has to be LHD though! The problem I have is finding the tie rod end which also has the hole for the steering rod (does that make sense?) I've looked on Ebay US but nothing comes up. Anyone help me out? Cheers. Phil.

The tie rod with the hole isn't used in that vintage LHDs. If it is LHD with the steering box up the front of the chassis then the drag link runs from the pitman arm to the RHS knuckle which has two holes. Before this set up the tie rod you are talking about in LHDs ran off the bellcrank. If you are after one of those, try Marathon Spares in Tamworth. What steering set up have you got?

Sorry, I should of explained more. It was an original CJ6 (RHD) but im fitting willys body and converting CJ6 steering to LHD to suit willys. I have found that part on Ebay but still looking for the other 3 tie rod ends. I have just posted my project in the build up section. Thanks Phil.

Pom
if you are using see cj stuff see below

Tie rod ends for CJ D30, wide or narrow track
the short rh thread ones Powermax brand(for pitman arm and right hand outer)
are part no TE189R abt $18.00 each

cheers
Mike

the only other one you will be chasing is the lonnnng tie rod end.
you can eliminate the long one by cutting and shutting a cj connecting rod, (goes between the knuckles and has a smaller tie rod one end and the tie rod with the hole on the other end)

then you can use TE189R on one end and the TE189L on the other

Mike
