Default 1st 100000kms done, onto the next

clocked over 100,000kms yesterday. Just wondering how the rest of you are going. Bit of shame to be out of warranty, but have bought the 5 star swan extended warranty, which will takes things up to 200,000kms - now that Jeep don't offer extended warranty any more.
Still going strong - no big problems to date. Looking forward to cape york trip in winter - hopefully with a snorkel

Jammy what's the details on the Swann warranty? I had one on the WG through RACV but RACV don't offer it any more either.

Was $2700 for an extra 3 years/100,000kms (with $100 excess), otherwise $3300 with no excess. Is supposed to cover absolutely everything - just like new car warranty. The good thing is that you can have the servicing done anywhere that will stamp the book, and you don't have to have the warranty repairs done at jeep - I can just go to my usual service place.

Maximum claim amount over the life of the warranty is the market value of the car, but each individual claim can be for any amount, as long as you are still under the overall market value.

Given there didn't seem to be too many other options, and given the price of a new engine potentially - this seems pretty reasonable. And my salary packaging people are happy to reimburse for the cost of it as well.

I'm on about 62,000 but have changed address, thus meaning my travel time/distance has trippled so I guess I will be reacking up the K's in the near future (Along with the two week trip with the van)

So far - all good with my beast. Does exactly what I have asked it to do.
