Default Brisbane Ants gone mad....

Everywhere I've been in the last 3 weeks or so, I have noticed the Ant Kingdom has gone insane .... millions & millions of the little bastids on the march from one end of town to the other like I've never ever seen before.

Normal little black 'uns and then those teeny weeny midget ones, swarming inside, outside & everywhere in between across all suburbs.

Is this indicative of the fact that we may be in for some massive weather issues? Has anyone else noticed this over the last couple of weeks, or am I just becoming phobic?

My kitchen sink is empty & spotlessly clean .... there's a whole freakin' ant farm in there, up the architrave & off into the wild blue yonder aarrrgh. Go outside and the timber fences look like they're moving. I draw the line when they're marching up & down the Jeep's doors & across her windscreen though, this is war!

Ah ha!!!! So, wtf does this mean ... I'm really worried something dire will happen weather wise 'coz this is soooo bizarre.

I don't know how bad the floods were up here over Easter being in Coffs, but we did hear a 12yo girl died at Caboolture from being swept away ... more on the way perhaps?

Thank goodness it's not my poor house keeping. I thought I was the only one with ant issues.

Melb had ant issues for over a month a few weeks back (they went away with the recent rain) - little buggers everywhere, couldnt buy ant rid or ant sand anywhere, all stockists were sold out.

Buy up big now, then scalp it on e-bay in 2 weeks.
