Unhappy Poor KJ

I need another alternator. The one that is in there right now has bad bearings and the inside of the pulley turns when you hold the outside steady.
Where can i get another, or do I have to get one from the USA. i got a replacement price so far from jeep in melbourne of $1200. there is No way i am paying $1200 for sometjing i can get for under $200 in the USA

If its just the bearings that are stuffed, just about any auto-electrician should be able to pull it apart and replace the bearings.

I just got a call from an auto electrics in Penrith and he quoted $620
Stuff that, the rego is due soon.
I will order one from the USA
