Default difference between rancho 5000 and 9000 shocks?

i have RS5000's and have been told they are little short. I know the 9000's are adjustable but are they any longer?

reason i ask is ive found a set of 4 9000's for sale for just $200, very tempting if they are a bit longer than the 5000's.

Think they're the same, but get 'em anyway! You should be able to mod them to fit easily, then get the in car adjuster and presto! Bargain!

Both 5000's and 9000's come in different lengths the last 2 digits typically tells you the travel between open and closed eg 9012 are 12" travel shocks
