Today i thought i would take the gf for a spin up the beach and was in the mood for some air con. Tried getting it come out of the dash slots but nothing... tried moving the setting to another but nothing at that as well. The air is only coming out from the windscreen slots and no where else no matter what the setting is.
Has anyone had this before or know how to fix it???
can you hear a hissing noise? maybe under the dash? apparently there is a vacuum hose that comes off and the control is vacuum operated. this is of course if your tj is post '97
in the engine bay look at the right hand side of intake manifold there will be a 5mm hose disconected! find where it lives and problem solved! TJs dont need a/c though!

Mad buga you are a champion! I would have had NO idea where to start looking for that fix. Turns out the hose wasn't disconnected but had a slice out if one side, bit of electrical tape fixed that up though.
