Default Hi lift jack mount

I have searched but can't seem to find it, but I recall seeing someone have a bracket for a hi lift going from the mirror relocation bolts near the windscreen. If anyone knows where it was bought or if it was home made ??? and where you can buy them if available.

Tiny, had his mounted on the passenger side. The base was on the slider he had made and the top hooked onto the mirror relocation brackets he had knocked up. Haven't seen him on here for a while and the pic he had posted has been moved so you can't see it any more. But I'm guessing that is the sort of thing you are looking for?

The DBOR one i've seen picks up the bonnet hinges so issues of panel stength aren't relevant.

If any others actually mount on panels - then id agree that its not a great idea.

I can see over time that mounting a hi lift on the bonnet that sooner or later you are going to drop the jack on the bonnet causing some damage. They are not light and trying to get it back on the bonnet in the rain at night full of mud after just using it seems like it is likely that it will crash into the bonnet at least once. I like the idea on the side or on the back but not across the bonnet.
