Default JK tyre pressure sensons!!

i recently fitted new rims and tyres and now the low tyre pressure senson stays on! any reason for this and how can i fix it?
Sais in the book that aftermarket wheels can effect it but nothing on how to adjust it.

You need to get the sensors out of the old rims and put them in the new ones.

The pressure sensors are part of the valve mechanism fitted to the original rims.

They obviously have to be in the tyre / rim to measure the pressure so you need to transfer them from the standard rims. I'm assuming you haven't moved them.

They can be adjusted with a procal or probably at a dealer, but if you air up / down then of course the Procal is the answer.

The options are to find & refit the TPMS sensors; live with the chime/display signal OR (the best option imo) disable it with a Superchips tuner. The AEV ProCal can also be used.

Just have the system disabled.

Put the sensors into the new rims if you want - problem is that they're solid valve stems and they're very easily damaged. They are not cheap from the dealer either.
