Default Re-Gearing

Hi all, hopefully someone has some experience here, especially with the CRD. I am considering re gearing. i have a 2010 (built sep 09) 6 speed CRD unlimited, currently running stock 245 tires with stock 3.21 gears. I frequently tow a camper trailer, approx weight 700-800kg loaded. I have found that 1st gear on take off is quite high, and 6th is also high. 1st gear is dreadful on take off with the camper on a slight incline. I will sometime upgrade to 33" (285/70/17), I really doubt I will ever go to 35's. What ratio's should I look for. The ratio change is mainly needed for towing amd on road driving, but will also come in handy for offroading. I am not planning to do this for 6 months, but sometimes the right gears appear in the for sale section so I may need to jump on them? I have noticed that most aftermarket gears are 4.56 and above, I would assume this to be to high. Do I look for 3.73, 4.1 or 4.56?
Thanks

I just went through this process I went with 4.1's, I have a manual crd.

Made a spreadsheet to work it all out if you want it let me know, then you can put in your tyre size and ratio in and find what rpm you will be in at different speeds for each gear

i would also look at 4.11's as a good allround ratio
