Default Scratch Repairs

Hey all,

Just got back from some Jeeping out at Cordalba National Park. I've scored a few scratches, nothing to deep. What products do you guys use to remove scratches? I don't think I'll ever buy a Black 4wd ever again

1st Option - If they're not too deep (just surface scratches) try some polish. But don't polish too much or you could remove the car's sheen

2nd Option - You could purchase a scratch pen from supercheap or buy some touch up paint from Jeep direct. You're somewhat luck you have a black car, cause the colour wouldn't be too difficult to match from the supa cheap range.... I think the supacheap pens are only about $20, but the Jeep touch up tins are about $70 based on a quote I got a few months ago.

3rd Option - Get a proffesional to come look at it like whatscratch.com.au - Google is your friend when it comes to finding scratch removers

The only other option you have is to leave the scratches, and treat them like 'scars'.... "And this one I got while trekking thru the Wattigans, And this one I got rescuing a Prado..."

If they are not to deep nursechoc, maquires and mother make some great systems for that kind of stuff. The mothers clay bar product is excellent and ive used it on my sons car a couple times to hide his indiscretions from the misus.
