Good way fro someone to collect a bunch of valid VINs to sell to a Car Rebirther . Is it safe to give your VIN to someone??

They wouldnt be able to register it in Australia....the DPI database would come up with a duplicate....good point though...
I dont think its a scam though....

That SE is weird, i definately got an 08...

Just remember that in the USA it is all about options unlike here you get regular or large. I have the renegade pack with auto. This is what I got.

Probably run by the KGB so when Russia invade the country theyll have a starting point for getting hold of local vehicles to conduct their operation easily.
