Default bullbar question???

ok so ut wondered as my mate just text me and said he has a bullbar from a 98hilux......would this fit my xj???? or atleast the brackets as it will need some small mods of course. i would find out myself but am impatient and away at work at the moment lol

The bar itself may but very much doubt the brackets will. I made a front bar for mine (as this is my job anyway) and ended up modifiying the arb mounts so I could still use the part that bolts up to the chassis. It has 3 bolts thru each side and 2 bolts into the front of each rail so the chances of a hilux being the same would b pretty unlikely i would think.
But anything can be done if you want it bad enough but its just a matter of how much time and $$ you want to spend on something like that.
Just my opinion.
