Default Jayco Offroad Camper

Hey guys! Been looking around at these and just wondering if anyone out there has one, and how well they tow behind the wrangler? I have a 2dr, and they're well under the max towing weight, just wanting some opinions!

I had a '05 model dove outback with an extra water tank and the 3.7 KJ towed it no trouble at all. Agree with Steve, heavy ball weight but within limits.

have a jayco eagle and tows just fine in a JKU petrol.

If yours is a CRD it will be more than ample and even the petrol would be fine, especailly the 2 door for power

Default Jayco

If you have a CRD 6 speed, do not do it unless you are prepared to change diff ratio. I tow a lighter weight camper trailer, and when loaded, it really struggles to get off the mark. Once off the mark, it drives great.

Got the Eagle too.

Diesel auto Jeep tows it fine, although auto transmission gets hot on the hills, so fit a cooler.

Great camper for the money. In fact, it's a great camper, full stop. Only complaint is that you sleep E-W, unless you're short. So position those with the weakest bladder to the inside of the camper.
