Default Whine/slip in 4x4 mode in reverse.

G'day fellow xj's. I'm getting a whine when in reverse in 4 hi or Lo mode. Sounds like something is slipping. Only makes the whine when I accelerate.
It doesn't whine when I'm in 2wd.

Anyone else have a similar problem?
I suspect it to be the transfer case or transmission.

Tim Tam.

i dunno about slipping, sounded more like binding or somesuch unless it has changed some...

Have you checked your mounts dude? thought struck me today that it might have collapsed and be causing it to move down, because it was only happening under load yea?

>.< didnt check'em at jambo either,

Going to have to live with this until I find a post update I suppose.

Already working on the front drive shafts.

Yeah. I'm in the middle of replacing the unis on the front.

Just waiting for spare parts from Wooders which should be here today and your front shafts as backups.

Hopefully getting this done for the bylong trip this weekend.
