Default Skid plates

I went up the beach on the weekend and broke the front plastic protection plate.

Absolutely useless. I will order an alloy one from Stu.

I removed the steel skid plate to find half of the beach on top of it.

Then removed the other plastic one again full of sand.

My question is do I need to replace the last plastic one, exchange it with a metal one or leave it off all together.
Thanks Stuart

Loose the Plastic.

Stu does an awesome alloy one for the front. Protects the exposed power steer lines behind the there.

Hey Dave.

Do you know if he's got one for the WK?

Hey all.

Just wondering if anyone makes a metal replacement skid plate for the same plastic piece mentioned by SF788 but for the WK2?

Hey all.

I have fashioned a replacement for the front piece I've mentioned previously out of fiberglass. Although it's not ideal, at least it's stronger than the cardboard original.

It will just have to do until I can find a cheaper metal alternative here.

Cheers,

Clarkey.
