Default Just another newbie saying hello...

Hi all!
I'm Jay, I have a computer sales and service business, and I have an XJ Cherokee...

It was bog stock when I got it 3 weeks ago apart from the dual fuel setup.
Since then I've changed the wheels from those mesh style ones, fitted a bigger less restrictive exhaust and cat, replaced the oil pressure sender, and replaced the completely broken OEM speakers with brand new ones.

It still has a few issues...
Alternator is on it's way out, (discovered that yesterday with the aircon running)
Exhaust manifold is leaking under the bonnet.
Oil leak from sump gasket (I think)
New oil pressure sender seems to not be working reliably.
Running a little hot (I suspect that the alternator needing replacing is largely to blame for this.)
Windscreen washers aren't working

My immediate future plans are to replace the alternator (who would've guessed!?)
Fit some bonnet vents
Install a better air filter (on it's way)
Fix the oil leak(s)
Determine why the new oil pressure sender isn't working
And give the old girl a once over to make sure everything is ship shape.

Oh and if anyone has a decent condition used alternator or new one, please let me know.

Hi and welcome.
Xj's running hot is common, have a look on the XJ threads...thermostats, and fan clutches are common causes.
Check the oil isn't actually weeping from the rocker cover gasket and running down the block.... Common issue. Replace the rocker gasket with a rubber one if not already done.
