Default CB microphone mount for 2013 JK

I have been struggling for weeks to find a neat solution for mounting my CB microphone mount in my 2013 JK Rubicon. I would prefer not to drill into the dash and am looking for either a bracket, or a flat spot that I can stick the mount to with scotch tape.

All the dash areas that could fit the microphone mount are not flat and I therefore can't find a neat spot to put it.

The CB unit itself is mounted behind the dash, and only the microphone needs a mounting place now.

What have others done? I've seen plenty of threads about this but cannot find a neat solution that works with the air bags. They make a cool bracket in the USA the attaches to either the side of your radio (for pre 2011 models) or behind the bolt on the passenger hand rail for 2011+ models, but they are for left hand drive models so for us, the bracket would face towards the passenger seat.

Faced the same problem. Here's mine. Tried holding it with tape but it didn't work so used two small bolts and nuts. I think you will have to.

The tape won't hold on the plastic. I even tried industrial strength double sided tape but it eventually vibrated off. Need to bite the bullet .

I have velcro double side taped to the sude of the console (about vent height) and matching on the back of the mic. Used some 'permanent' double sided tape from Aldi of all places and 3 years later its still there. Also used the same tape for a velcro patch on the lower dash to hold the Tekonsha P3 when I use it.
