Hey all, whats a reasonable price for a gas system installed in my FSJ??

there is / was a gov rebate for the gas conversions ( here in qld anyway) think the normal age price is 3 grand ? then theres the % off from that.

Should come in at around $2300-$2500, less the rebate of $1750 (currently, i think).
See if you can find a wrecked FSJ with gas on it (might be difficult given your location) and swap it over, then once its done and certified you get the rebate, should have $$ in your pocket afterwards as long as the gas set up off the old rig is OK.

You should be able to fit a single 78l tank under the back between the rails (about 63 usable) or a more expensive way is two smaller tanks running north/south that will hold up to 120l.

hi just add to it at mascot motors they have fsj jeep there wrecking at the moment i seen it yesterday and i think it was on gas ,was pretty good nic to

While you're at it-get the biggest tank/tanks you can as the 'ol XJ has a 68 useable litre tank under the back and I only get about 350 kms out of it.
