Im pretty sure you can get new axles for about $480 and used ones for $300. It did cop a hiding that night at red hill hey ben. so i guess that might have something to do with it.

watch out, i had a 99 grand v8 and the gearbox started playing up needed a whole new gearbox, $10,000 from jeep. 1 month left on the warranty. I think gbox problems is a common fault.

i reckon you cant go past a 5 inch grinder with a 1mm blade on it, very little heat and no paint scratching, they are designed for stainles so they dont heat it up much. Slice through very quickly
