Sad news the replacement one spewed out more than the first one did at LCMP yesterday. Straight onto the exhaust, some nasty smoke emitted having me thinking i was going to have a bonfire. It's either the alternator overcharging,the engine bay getting too hot when doing extended low range driving or the battery doesn't like the angles it is getting subjected too. Unless the charge rate is an intermittant fault i can rule that out as the highest reading i have got of it is 14.45v(range should be 13.5-14.5).

Hi All,

Just a quick update, due to the hard-brakeline mangleage which occured I finally got the JK towed to the workshop where I had the Braided Stainless brake lines etc made and they will be sending the Brake Shoes away to get rebonded while I have it in getting the Hard Brake lines re-run.

Thanks for the suggestions, I will let you know how much the rebonding costs etc.
