Issue is as soon as you cut a hole in the top of the ARB bar you will make it useless. It will fold and bend very easily. Currently it is OK for moderate protection but is only lightweight it relies on the folds in the sheet to gain rigidity.

Yea that's pretty good I was just looking at the bar and I wouldn't have to chop that much out of it so it should be sweet

there's also the or-fab tyre carrier/can carrier, it bolt behind the tail light on a supplied heavy duty bracket, here's some links and have a look for yourself, just another option for you, explained more by the guyz who make em on the links below

I fitted one of these with Rubi4door.
You do have to cut into the tub - A couple 1" holes.
I liked it but you'd need to ask Rubi4door how his is holding up.
